2015 was marked by the success of the Ligier JS P2 in the FIA World Endurance Championship. G-Drive Racing entered two Ligier JS P2-Nissan-Dunlop and won the world LM P2 title with four victories and five pole positions to their name. The 2016 edition of the FIA WEC saw the Ligier JS P2, over the nine races of the season, on the LM P2 podium eight times, and on the top step twice.
2016 is also a year of great achievements for the Ligier JS P2 on the American continent. Ligier became the first French brand to win the legendary 24 Hours of Daytona with the victory of the Tequila Patron ESM Ligier JS P2-Honda, which also went on to win a few weeks later at the 12 Hours of Sebring. Michael Shank Racing's victories at Laguna Seca and Petit Le Mans were also added to the Ligier JS P2's track record.
