The fifth round of the 2017 V de V Endurance Series was held this weekend at Jarama. After a hectic four hours, three Ligier JS P3s took the chequered flag in the first three places in the Endurance GT – Touring cars – LM P3 race.
This Ligier triple is the same as the one that filled the first three places at Portimao at the end of April with a superb double by the nos 22 and 33 Inter Europol Competition Ligier JS P3s followed by no. 39 run by Graff.
Before Jakub Smiechowski and Hendrik Still scored a triumphant victory in the no. 22 Ligier JS P3, the Polish team had to wait for the final minutes of the race to enjoy a double. The no. 33 Ligier JS P3 of Paul Scheuschner, Johann Ledermair and Peter Elkmann moved up from fourth to second place in the last quarter-of-an-hour of the event.
The Graff team bet on consistency and was rewarded with its fifth LM P3 podium finish on the bounce. Eric Troulliet, Franck Gauvin and Remy Deguffroy lead the overall classification in LM P3 at the wheel of the no. 39 Ligier JS P3.
